- Some questions frequently asked by houseowners : can non-transition metals/non-d block elements be catalysts? how do promoters work?
♥ which are the elements and compounds that don't consist of d block elements but still act as catalysts? what are the the reactions in which such elements act as catalysts? please provide detailed explanation of the reactions if possible. i'm aware of the definitions of promoters and inhibitors, but what exactly do they do to affect the activity of catalysts?finding the block id (s block, p block, d block, etc) of an element?
♥ i have no clue what this means. i don't even know where to start. i have to determine if elements belong in s block, p block, d block, or f block. i know that online it tells you what block an element belongs to, but i just don't understand it. for example, one of them is francium. i looked it up and it says it is in s block. what on earth does this even mean? is this related to the electron configuration? because it just doesn't make sense. how can it belong to s block? francium has 87 electrons. but the s sublevel can only have 2 electrons! please explain this to me? if you could give me some examples for finding block id, that'd be great, because i have to do this for about 30 elements. a few of them are francium, gold, europium, tungsten, krypton, tin. i just need help understanding the process so that i can do these by myself. thanks a lot!where are the s,p,d and f block elements located in the period table?

♥ my novel's co-creator is vacationing, and i am suffering from severe writer's block. i am currently working on the second novel in our ya fantasy trilogy, but cannot seem to come up with any captivating trials for the characters. inoformation about the work: argent (the prnicess of an afterlife kingdom), whisker (a mage), and leaf (an archer) are traveling to ailill, leaf's home kingdom. their intentions are to bring feoras, a powerful young boy, back to their own kingdom. their enemy for this book is a group of four elementals - beings who control the four main elements of the world. what i need are trials and obstacles that the group must undergo along their journey. i am trying to avoid similiar stituations that they face in the first novel. some events that have already occured include: bandits dragons break-out from the prison kingdom mind-controlling parasites ambush of revived spirits i need something different from these. it needs to be captivating and fitting to the story. please, i'm not interested in vampires or werewolves. thank you so much. i will chose a best answer. and, please, be serious and original. thanks!!!!.
